The marvelous masterpiece from Volkswagen Group - Bugatti Veyron was declared 'Car of the Decade' (2000-2009). The supercar is designed and developed by VW Group and produced by Bugatti Automobiles; in India the car is being sold through Exclusive Motors. The model name 'Veryron' had been given in honor of French racing driver Pierre Veryon; Veryon won the 24 hours of Le Mans in the year 1939-behind the original Bugatti.  The offer price of the Bugatti Veyron Rs 16.4 crore will vary due to foreign exchange fluctuations and the customization level.








The higher ranked Bugatti Veyron has been loaded with a grand 8 litre, 7993cc, 16 cylinder engine that generates awesome power of 1001 hp at 6000 rpm and produces incredible torque of 1250 Nm at 2200-5500 rpm with the help of superlative automatic 7 speed DSG gearbox. It has enough power, acceleration and technology to set ablaze a racetrack. The Bugatti Veryon has got 400mm front disc brakes with 8 cylinders while the rear brakes are of 380mm with 6 cylinders. The brakes are made of ceramic, high-tech carbon and titanium material that are responsible for maximum cooling and high friction valves


The Bugatti Veyron takes only 2.5 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kmph and completely halts in less than 5 seconds. In addition to that, it amazes you with its superb braking. The braking system ensures instant halt in only 2.3 seconds. Moreover, the rear spoiler is used as extra air brake post the speed of 200 kmph.



The overall length of this supersonic machine, Bugatti Veryon, is 4462mm, width 1998mm and height of 1159 mm; the car has wheelbase of 2710mm and fuel tank capacity of 100 litres. In order to have minimum weight of the car, the engineers have used light weight materials such as aluminum (doors, wings, engine block, water cooling pipes, front and rear crash frames, gearbox housing, interior trim), magnesium (engine covers and intercooler covers), titanium, carbon fiber, carbon-ceramic, stainless steel, etc. The Bugatti Veryon is developed on carbon monocoque construction that ensures maximum protection. To add to the safety, the super hot wheel has been gifted with rear wing that also works as an airbrake; especially when decelerating.



The Bugatti Veyron comes with trademark exterior design and interior appearance with greater functionality. The front end of the car is designed with wider air intake that looks like a mysterious cave which invites race lovers to step inside. The air intake outline is coloured distinctly for bold look while the lower intakes on either sides are placed horizontally in leaf size; all have honeycomb grills. The side air dams have centrally positioned single horizontally bar going across the cluster. The sloppy bonnet gets upward shoulders that houses advanced headlights fitted horizontally. The side view has got body colour ORVMs with integrated blinkers. It has conventional opening side door with body match door handles and wider wheelarches. The rear side of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is very compact that comes with rear wing, double diffuser and a centrally arranged exhaust system in titanium. The round shaped four tail-lights give it a fighter jet like image.



The interior look of the Bugatti Veyron has it all, resemblance to a fighter jet's cockpit as well as the technology used in one. The car can be availed with full leather trim, three types of sport seats, heated seats, automatic climate control, advanced sound system, Bluetooth, iPod interface, navigation system and rearview mirror display, an accessory canvas roof panel, two-tone interior, etc.
